The Perfect Shot was thought up by Jay, at about fourteen years of age. He coined up the idea when he was sketching out an Anchiceratops, a kind of dinosaur. Some of his inspiration also came from watching Austin Stevens on TV, a man who goes to exotic and dangerous places, and tries to get the perfect shot of some of the world's most deadly creatures. A lot of inspiration also came from the 'Prehistoric Camp', an online fiction series written by Rick Charles.

His dream comes true when he is given the chance to join a team of scientists, explorers, adventurers and go where no man has ever set foot. Places unimaginably awesome, yet dangerous. They'll uncover hidden worlds, and walk on some of the most magnificent landscapes ever. They will encounter amazing beasts, that have never been seen by human beings.

Jay lives in Malaysia, and is fourteen years of age. He has been interested in prehistory and art since he was a toddler, and discovered a love for writing at age seven. He is presently active in the fields of music, xenobiology and speculative evolution, cryptozoology, paleozoology, writing, drawing and several more.
He is in the process of writing a novel titled Bear Lake Legends at present, which he hopes will get published. Among his other work, Jay has begun a Xenobiology project labeled Creta, a project detailng the harsh ecosystem of an underworld, and many more.
Among Jay's short stories are, A Day in the Rainforest, Final Destination V (a fanfic), Primal Grounds, Primal Park, Demon's Hour, and several more. He will also go into the field of filmography, when he earns enough to buy a good video camera.
Jay is also a drummer, albeit an amateur at it. He goes for lessons every Saturday and hopes to progress further and achieve his dream of one day becoming a musician.
